Mitch + Nicole Wedding

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding with David Pascolla at the San Luis Obispo Mission, where Mitch and Nicole had their ceremony.

After the ceremony we headed over to the The Cliff Resort to finish up bridal party shots before the reception began. With cigars in one hand, a cold drink in the other and a big smile, this wedding party knew how to have fun!

I had a blast and am looking forward to this weekend where I'll be shooting another wedding with David. Stay tuned!

Weedn Family Portraits

The Weedn family possesses a unique character and one that I admire. They are so full of love for each other as a couple and are so enamored with their son as parents. They love and laugh with a genuine spirit that is rarely seen in a world that demands so much attention and time. They make the demands look trivial and the expectations appear easy to meet.

It is as if they met and fell in love yesterday and yet one can easily see they have known each other's love and adoration for years. They are a young family, a determined family, and a beautiful family in image and heart.
The Weedn family yields much to covet but above all they prove that family is the most important thing in life and that love is as easy as you make it out to be.

Baby Bradley

Where does the time go? When we were little and adults would say, "I remember when you were just a baby," and the phrase didn't make sense. An internal shrug and "ok" would cross our mind. Suddenly, the words are coming from our mouths. We are the adults who can look at little lives and mark them by "I remember when's." For a parent, watching your child grow is a constant reminder of yesterday and a questioning of tomorrow.

Bradley is 6 months old. Where did the time go? The nine months of waiting seemed so slow in comparison to the 6 months of his life in the outside world. The milestones that have been reached, the way a couple had become a family, the new discoveries that are made daily. Bradley has given his parents, Spencer and Alli, 6 months of unfathomable happiness and personal growth. Spencer and Alli, who met at USC, are now raising up the next generation to become a future Trojan and perhaps a football player just like his Daddy. Oh the dreams that one little life can hold!

They Did! Justin + Kerrin Wedding

Justin and Kerrin came together to promise forever on a warm central coast Saturday. Relaxed and calm, they were both simply ready to begin forever together.

Justin, a self proclaimed picture hater, let loose with his friends at a local Starbucks. Kerrin calmly dressed her flower girls and relaxed with her bridesmaids and no matter how sly we tried to be, she seemed to find the lens.

As Kerrin made her way down the aisle, a smiling Justin seemed anxious to have her hand in his. While they stood at the altar, he stared at her as if no one else was watching and she glowed in anxious anticipation to say, "I do!"

Justin and Kerrin let us take them into town and away from the crowd to get their first married pictures together. They laughed and joked and welcomed us in like old friends. Their reception was at the incredible Del Adobe Gardens hidden away in San Luis Obispo and was filled with beautiful flowers, quiet music, and lots of love.
